Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression across the screens. The parents of De La Garza were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. She moved to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period prior to moving into Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of acting roles, including local independent films and commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza quickly realized her passion for acting. Then she moved in New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the beginning of 2000, she acted minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived drama The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. This character was a hit and has earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza, in a recurring cast role in CSI Miami was announced a moment or two further. She played Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. The most recent television appearance was on NBC's somewhat darker drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two episodes the series was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory as well as being Italian by descent. Her family was a family that was conservative and extremely religious. Milano began her acting career at the age of seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her for an audition. Four girls selected out of over 1,000 applicants included Milano. Milano appeared in TV commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the American premiere musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
